The Cost
What's included?
A week in Morocco with Freeridespain includes airport transfers, guiding, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the atlas mountains (i.e all food when not in Marrakech), accommodation and 4x4 support. Basically, you will not need to spend a penny (or dirham!) when in the mountains.
Optional extras in the mountains
All the villages we stay in have small shops hidden away somewhere! These always sell things like coca cola, chocolate, biscuits and other snack type foods. You can also buy bottled water from here although most of the towns have drinking water from the tap.
In Marrakech..
Your accommodation and breakfast in Marrakech on your day of departure is also included. However, you will need money for lunch and dinner the day before your departure and depending on the time of your flight out of Marrakech money for lunch as well.
General information
When we're in Morocco we usually just draw money from the banks cash point with a debit card. This avoids having to go to a bureau de change and the bank rate is usually pretty good. For example, the Halifax charge £1.50 and the exchange rate is good.
In Marrakech you can eat in places like Macdonalds, Pizza Hut or KFC for the same price as the UK or northern Europe. However, there are also other GREAT restaurants and other facilities which are much cheaper, better and (in my opinion) equally hygienic. On the last night we usually venture into the Djemaa El Fna to experience the madness, chaos and brilliant traditional Moroccan food. This usually costs about £10
Total Cost
The cost for your adventure in Morocco with Freeridemorocco is £595. You will also need about £50 spending money.
