Things you'll need

We've tried to make the list as comprehensive as possible without introducing a tonne of weight to your bike bag. This list is comprised of the essentials and should be taken by each person. Please don't leave anything because you think 'John' will have one!

General Kit

  • Bike - In GOOD working order. Other than the spares we take you will not be able to get hold of any in Morocco!
  • Helmet - You know the score, no helmet, no ride!
  • Sunglasses
  • Bike clothing - Enough for six rides.
  • Gloves - A set for riding and we recommend a set for when off the bike at night
  • Wooly Hat
  • Socks - Thick, warm ones!
  • Down Jacket - At night it can get cold and this will be a godsend!
  • Waterproof Jacket - Lightweight
  • Sleeping Bag - Rated to at least -12DegC
  • Fleece
  • Long Trousers
  • Torch - With new batteries
  • Power Bars and Electrolytes
  • A good book
  • Camera

Toiletries

  • Towel
  • Shower Gel
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Anti Bacterial hand gel
  • Baby wipes - 1 pack
  • Sun Block - High factor
  • Lip Balm

For Your Camel Bak

  • 3 Litre bladder
  • 4 Inner tubes
  • Multi tool
  • Pump
  • First Aid kit - please see footnote below for details of what your first aid kit must contain.
  • Bivvi Bag - We do NOT Bivvi anywhere, this is for emergencies only!
